@Lumbahjak Sorry for not responding sooner. I used a railing system from Rona home improvement in Canada. It comes as a complete 6 foot system. Top and bottom cedar heartwood pre-slotted and tempered glass panels including all the hardware.

The deck is built with screws and would not pose a problem to do a few alterations if needed. Thanks for the concern.
actually trees …
actually trees never stop growing no matter the age, they have to grow in oder to survive. If that tree has stoped growing then it means its dead and that would of been a big mistake to frame around a dead tree. let me know how the bords fit in 3 years, other than that nice deck sir..

I was a little …
I was a little nervous when I started on this large deck. I planned the protect for over 4 years. Finally we had the cash and I went in head first. Cost of all materials was about $6,000.00. If I had hired someone to build this deck it would come out at around $14,000.00.
