Question by Miss_Concerned: How to make ugly old cupboards and closet doors much more attractive?
I am renting and want to know if there are any very good ideas for covering closet doors or cupboards. We are not allowed to paint or something like that. Any suggestions on what can be carried out?

Given that you can’t paint or refinish something, you could merely take the doors off and then put in tension rods (yes, they make ‘em that small) and hang “curtains” there to go with your decor. I wouldn’t necessarily do it with every single door, but just appear at the entire room as a image and then imagine where they would appear the nicest..a sense of balance. The tension rods are nice since you do not have to install any hardware. When you are ready to give up your apartment/residence, just take ‘em down and reinstall the doors.
You’re almost certainly not gonna discover curtains this modest, so you may need to have to make ‘em oneself. That’d be the only problem I can foresee. I’ve produced ‘em myself, and a straight up curtain is super easy to make if you have got a sewing machine. Hopefully, if you determine to go with this concept although, you can discover some thing to make it perform. Excellent luck.
